Christening Creatures

Today is the begining of March and also the christening of two babies. A little boy will receive from his God mother an enamelled whale to hang over his bed. In a different part of the kingdom a little girl will be given an enamelled kitten playing with a ball of wool by her aunt. These were both separate commisions but coincidently had the same theme in common. These creatures will be treasured for years to come and who knows perhaps one day will hang over the cots of the children of these two babies.
